Qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor dedicated to supporting you through life's challenges
Hi, I'm Jen
I'm a country girl who's grown up in North Devon surrounded by the beautiful countryside and coast. I cherish my surroundings and have a passion for nature.
My beloved labrador and I love nothing more than long cross-country walks in the various weather conditions Devon has to offer.
I became a counsellor quite late in life, finally finding direction in my 40s. I experienced the early onset of perimenopause, and after suffering the stress, low mood and the helplessness of not being heard by the medical profession, with no local menopause centres, I made the decision to be there for others.
To have someone they can talk to without being judged.
And there began my journey to become a qualified counsellor.
As I progressed through my training, I held placements in two dissimilar organisations, one with an awesome nutritional therapist specialising in menopause (thank you Hazel Harrison at The Verve Clinic 😘) and the other at an amazing diversity charity (thank you Sunrise Diversity😘).
Both opened my eyes to the mental health and challenges in life endured by a hugely diverse range of individuals.
Since completing my Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, I have continued my training in several areas, including:
Pet Bereavement and British Sign Language (BSL)
So that's me!
Everyone's different, everyone's individual, and the trust within the therapeutic relationship is where the magic happens.
I offer a free 20 minute Zoom or phone introduction to see if we're a good fit.

My individual counselling service is dedicated to help you overcome personal challenges and focus on your goals. I provide a confidential and safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behaviour, and develop strategies for positive change.

Walk and Talk therapy provides openness and freedom within the therapeutic experience, offering serenity and calmness to individuals that enjoy the outdoors and can feel restricted within confined spaces.
Particularly beneficial to individuals that feel relaxation when surrounded by nature.
